Superbloom

Superbloom is a worsted weight American SW merino tweed yarn that is created with a rainbow of acrylic nupps. It is the only superwash yarn carried by Sea Change Fibers, and has been verified to use an environmentally conscious process. The American merino is sourced, prepped, milled, and dyed entirely within the US. Superbloom has a round and bouncy 3 ply construction that has beautiful stitch definition with a rainbow of colors subtly flecked through it. The fiber is not heavily superwashed, so it maintains its shape well when knitted at a firm gauge of 20 stitches/4”. It pairs beautifully with our nonsuperwash Pelagic base for striped or colorwork projects where you want a more blank canvas to highlight the rainbow tweed. It’s a perfect base for kid sweaters/hats, everyone else’s sweaters when you’re concerned about handwashing, and blankets. We always recommend hand washing but this yarn can be machine washed.
