Sea Change Fibers sources this CA/NV grown yarn from Lani's Lana - a California based climate-beneficial wool producer. The small batch sport weight marl has two plies of white yarn and one of grey. The dye is taken up by the white plies and grey ply differently, creating a deeper more complex color than white yarn alone. The marl is very visible in light colors, and adds dimension in darker colors. The yarn itself is a very round and bouncy worsted-spun, non-superwash wool with beautiful stitch definition. Please gently hand wash.
